By your definition, if I call someone and ask them if they want to go out, I am begging them to go out with me.You were certainly begging for other players to join you on the farm PF. You let the system do the actual begging for you. A PF is a request for other players to help you so you are begging. That is why I always thank the party host because they have to put in the effort to beg for people to join. Also the newer players did you a courtesy and asked first. But you take people for granted. That much is obvious.
And it show new players show that they are not looking to ninja or leech a win. You just hate newbies and/or newer players. That too is obvious. You just want to reap the rewards of other people teaching and other people learning for your own personal gain.
Just... what? This doesn't even make any sense.
Make perfect sense to me. Actually that is begging with even higher stakes. It is any different than the high school kid that asks for a celebrity to go to their prom thru twitter or facebook? It doesn't do much for your ego or pride, but it is what it is. Taking the initiative is requires effort. It is no different than telemarketer cold calling, or door-to-door people trying to make their sales pitch. That is why you treat those people with the same kindness as everyone else, because they are all people. So do the decent thing, if you need to turn people down, turn people down politely in all interactions. Sending the dog out to bite them or chase them away is not the right thing, just like a "no newbies wanted" check box. And just because they didn't read the "no solicitation" placard you put on the door, does NOT give you the right to send the dogs after them either.

What the hell I don't even.
Calling them and asking them to go out is taking the initiative and is the effort. What are you going to call not begging in that situation? I. What even.
When they seek you out, then they are begging you. What is so wrong with begging? Everyone has to it all the time. It is all part of the give an take. So do not do others what you would not want done to you, and at the same time do unto others as you would want other to do unto you. Fair is fair.
Beg, beseech, request, ask, etc. it all the same. I am not some monk that has taken a vow or poverty or anything like that, but there is no shame in being a beggar. Being newer, poorer, lesser, there is no shame in that either, in game or in life. That is just where you are now, it is in "the how"/"the way" you get to where you want to go that matters. And being mean to newbies with the "no newbies wanted" check box is not the right way.

Actually the comments that people may ignore is like the "no solicitation placard". A "no newbies wanted" check box is like the dogs, because it actually has the teeth of the system to enforce it.

By your definition, every single person on the world is a beggar in every single action they take. You are a beggar. I am a beggar. There is no reason to use the word. It's not a descriptor that differentiates one from another because everyone is a beggar!
Actually you are very correct and very wise in saying that. Most major world religion will agree with you. The buddhist will you that is the nature of the human condition, the endless insatiable desire, always wanting, always begging. The Christians will tell you, we are but beggars for the salvation from Christ's holy sacrifice. But I don't want to get off on odd tangents.
Here is where you off track with the logic. Everyone is human, yet we use the word human, just like everything in the known universe is matter, yet we use the word matter. Because it does matter. And that is forgetting not everyone is a beggar all the time.

I wasn't even really talking about an actual date so any of the commentary about ego and pride is kind of a moot point. Call up a few friends, ask if they want to hit the town; that equates to begging them to go out with me? In any case, I am the one taking initiative in that example. Your reply is nonsensical.Make perfect sense to me. Actually that is begging with even higher stakes. You certainly do have a flair for hyperbole, I have to admit. In this case, the checkbox is the equivalent of the 'no solicitation' placard, not the equivalent of setting my hypothetical dogs on them.
