It is no different than telemarketer cold calling, or door-to-door people trying to make their sales pitch. That is why you treat those people with the same kindness as everyone else, because they are all people. So do the decent thing, if you need to turn people down, turn people down politely in all interactions. Sending the dog out to bite them or chase them away is not the right thing, just like a "no newbies wanted" check box. And just because they didn't read the "no solicitation" placard you put on the door, does NOT give you the right to send the dogs after them either.
I wasn't even really talking about an actual date so any of the commentary about ego and pride is kind of a moot point. Call up a few friends, ask if they want to hit the town; that equates to begging them to go out with me? In any case, I am the one taking initiative in that example. Your reply is nonsensical.

You certainly do have a flair for hyperbole, I have to admit. In this case, the checkbox is the equivalent of the 'no solicitation' placard, not the equivalent of setting my hypothetical dogs on them.
