While we're on the topic of discrimination, can I have a filter for play-time too? I don't want to play with anyone who hasn't at least played for 1.5 years.
Oh, also, race filter? Lalafell only parties.
Black Lalafells.

I do not know if you were serious, but this was funny. If you were...shame on you.
But OP your still right![]()
I am a winner, even though I sometimes fail.
Pretty sure he's not threatening you since he doesn't want to coerce you into doing anything. He's just saying your poor attitude and form shown here on these forums means he wouldn't want to join a learning/whatever group with you ever. You could be all the good player you can be without any of the clears people are talking about but with an attitude like yours it's simple for them not to want to deal with and will ignore you.
Beggers cannot be choosers you say?
Odd. My party finder group for Ramuh Extreme last night got filled fast last night. My requirements were the following:
Multiple runs for the loot.
Serious play with high-level gear.
Custom field said: Do not join if you have no prior wins, you will be booted if you hold back group or are trying to get carried for a win.
My PF group took less than 10 minutes to fill while I watched Netflix. I had two /tells from 2 players who never beat the fight and only made it to the Adds phase - aka new players. I told them they could not join.
The players who joined my PF, however, all had clears and we were able to successfully farm Ramuh Extreme for a long period of time.
I certainly did not have any issues picking who I wanted. The players that joined were those who wanted to farm, met the requirements, and had the skills to do multiple efficient runs. I did not beg people to join my PF since they joined at their own accord to accomplish the objective: farming.
As far as I am concerned, the one's begging from last night's situation were the two new players who only made it to Adds phase, hoping they could get carried for their first win.
I love how evil you try to make everyone sound, though I seriously doubt you devote every waking moment of your life to help those in need, especially since you presumably play an mmo. I'm just being bluntly honest. And, just to be clear, I never said the homeless were less valued as people. It is obvious the other players are taken for granted with responses like these:
...
Newer players are strays, seriously? Homeless are somehow less valued as people? You make threats to blacklist people because they disagree with you?
A little humility will do people with attitudes like this some good. BTW even if you cleared T9 and can farm all the EX primals, your worth in game is still about $14.99 a month to SE.
I play this game to have fun; trying to help someone attempting some random duty is not always fun. Yes, yes, there's a person on the other side of that monitor. There's one in front of mine too.
Humility? Pot meet kettle. It's like I said, if I'm selfish for not helping someone, then they are also selfish for asking for help. After all, in both cases we're acting in favor of our own interests. I'm not more important, in general, than anyone else; similarly, no one else is more important than me. Humility indeed.

No, your arguments against this feature are by all means very good and also valid. However, the way you present your argument pretty much renders your efforts fruitless because you're giving a bad impression of yourself and the ones you defend making people less likely to agree with you.
Another point is to not shove your opinion down other people's throats. They don't have to agree with you nor do you have to agree with them. So please everyone, for the sake of the ones you defend, stop with the insults.
This is a baseless statement and you had no reason to say this; it just shows poor form on your part. Unless you have played with those players you have no idea what their skill levels were. You don't know if they've just had horrible parties or if they want to get carried. They could very easily have performed just as well as the people who have REX on farm.
What you do know is that their skill level is unknown and you did not want to chance it.
They said they only made it to Adds phase. What part of that did you not read or understand? They explicitly said they never made it past the Adds phase and have never cleared the fight. Thus, they are still new players to the fight. This is a baseless statement and you had no reason to say this; it just shows poor form on your part. Why chance it for myself and the other 5 players? It was a farm party designed for players who have multiple wins and have full knowledge of the entire fight - not only a portion of it.
There is nothing efficient for farming or weekly clears when you take players who are new or have only experienced a minor portion of the fight - the point of this entire thread. Hence, why OP and many others are supportive for a clearance filter function.
