And let us not forget this mod post:
Things are in the works, and this first patch was a step in the right direction IMO.We confirmed with the development team that along with the implementation of instanced raids, they will be looking into enhancing the convenience of the party member search system. A raid search option will be added along with a feature that allows players to indicate they are searching for a party outside of raids.
We are currently performing thorough tests to ensure there are no problems for implementation.

Funny thing about this. If it was still an amazing source of XP/SP as people want... guess what will happen lol... FINAL LEVEQUEST XIV will still live on because that is all anyone would do because it has such a good turn out. So what do you do to have people stop relying on Leve's as main source of xp grinding?!?!?! That's right you "nerf the xp/sp"!!!! hmmm that makes sense, no? you have to have a means to make leve's not be the backbone and this is an amazing first step!enough with the sarcasm, it's petty and stupid.
All I'm saying is even with that "in/out of the game" style you say it is now only geared towards it does not even suffice in that respect for sp. He claimed people shouldnt have to take 6+ months 5-6 hours a day to get to cap on a job and yet leves are this awful.
I see what you're saying man, now try to stop shooting what I say down and see if you can see what I'm trying to point out

It sounds more like, if a game where others can advance at their own pace and want to forgo community in favor of having a few select friends to chat with while solo grinding bothers you THAT much, you're playing the wrong game. See what I did there. Anyone can twist a statement or acronym to his or her own warped perspective and use that as troll food.hmmmm maybe people forgot what MMO means... Maybe we should have a reminder MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online "..."
not MASSIVELY SOLOPLAYER online "..." yes there should be some solo content and thats fine its great to have those times when you cant play with other's to go do something on your own, but this is a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online game so if you just want to play the game solo from start to finish... you are playing the wrong games. I for one like the idea that yes you can go out and solo sometimes as I already said, but why play an mmo solo ALL the time? So I reiterate MMO DOES NOT MEAN SOLO! it means there is a community to work with and come to a same end.
No, No it's not.
The SP has not been nerfed ultra hard you can still grind and you can still get SP from leves. People need to stop crying for a few moments and take things in.
Personally I found how fast you could level with proper lev-links and whatnot to be unsetling and too fast. Rushing to 50 should never be something ultra "Easy" to do. Maybe I'm just one of those people who are used to taking a good deal of time to get to the end of the game.
Took me a great deal of time to hit my first 75 job in FFXI even in ideal curcumstances it was quite a feat in the early days of the game. Now people are upset they can't gain a few ranks in a hour and wait till the leves reset.
the sad part here is ppl forget that with the surplus system gone there is nothing stopping you for putting in more hours on the same class you feel sp is completely nerfed but you forget you never get less of it over time
So what seems to be the best way to rank up now? For a lowbie like me, that is (THM/CON R20). Just do a little bit of everything, leves, quests, partying?
Played the game for about a month then took a break. Came back and not sure where to begin. Thought reading the forums might help but I think I'm more confused now. XD

I think people are trying their hardest to forget fatigue: the system that should never have existed in the first place. To create balance between casual players and hardcore exp grinders, a reward system that gives bonus exp based on how long you've been logged out for (not going to mention which game has this) is much better than flat out penalizing the hardcore exp'ers that just want to level their favorite jobs, not a mix of every job.
