It should be i100, but it'll likely be i90.
I'd be happy if the last boss of a dungeon at least drops gear. it is so annoying when at the end of the dungeon you get outdated almost useless crafting gear. Sure, I can sell it for maybe less than 2K gil but thatll only cover some repairs.
I can get said mats via FATEs or turning in gear. I don't need them in dungeons.
When you're leveling up an alt dungeon gear was a way to progess. Its been a year and I've got multiple jobs up to 50. It's SO easy to get myth gear for fresh 50's, especially now that hunts are a thing. But what if I want to upgrade my other alts?
As it stands it'll take you ~15 weeks to fully gear soldiery due to lockout. In other words, it'll take close to 6 months just to level different 2 different DoW or DoM Still, soldiery gear is an improvement to myth gear in that different jobs can equip them.

I hope I get to cap my seals even faster by trading in the worthless drops!
personally i do hope for a i110 drop, you can call me crazy, but the 2.2-2.3 was the worst patch of the game, most of the add from it must never be redone. i explain myself:
- crafting mat in the chest from boss in the 4man dungeon, this is a nonsense! especially since the new ixal tribes allows us to purchase them or GC do the same.
- upgrade systeme for the token equipement, it was the worst idea they had, simply for please raider... they was forced after to make the item that allows to upgrade the item drop from different content for allows people to catch up, worst they have make all the other loot from ST useless since people was wanting most of the time oil and sand.
- heavy RNG oriented content... it's nice to have some RNG but not that heavy like atma or stuff like this.
they really need to stop do bad stuff like this.
Minimal ilvl for entry should be between i95 and i100 (if no one can reach that, then get to spamming 2.1-2.3 dungeons or ST) and the loot that drops should be around i105 and be accuracy based. This way, it's minor progression towards Second Coil and maybe Third Coil, in case the gear you have doesn't help you meet the accuracy cap for it.
Also it should be a fun challenge for people in i100-110 gear. It won't be Coil difficult (so no 1 KO = everyone KO's), but it should require BLM's or WHM's to make use of their dusty Sleep/Repose spells, amongst other things.
Forgot to add: NO CRAFTING MATS. Just make them cheap to buy with Soldiery or something, or if you do plan on making them drop in dungeons, make them drop from the Potion chests and not boss chests.

To be honest, while new viable dungeon sets would be fantastic for alts, all I really want to see is some varied glamour sets come out of these. Mostly I'm just borderline irritated that my BRD main is boxed into looking like either a pirate or a travelling circus threw up on me.
So I've been thinking (and posted it on the XIV subreddit. Going to fix it up, though)
- 2.1 dungeons rewarded players with i60 gear, which used to drop from Amdapor Keep. There was also Labyrinth of the Ancients, which dropped i80 gear. Why couldn't the 2.1 dungeons drop i75 gear? Philosophy was going to become irrelevant next patch and getting new ilvl75 gear would have kept Pharos Sirius from getting the unfortunate nerf. Since people would actually have felt rewarded for the challenge.
- 2.2 dungeons rewarded players with i70 gear, one set being Darklight. It also loved to drop crafting materials for whatever reason. 2.2 also removed the Mythology cap, which allowed us to easily gear up our mains and alts in Myth gear, as well as gear up our mains in i100 weathered gear. It also 'raised' the ilvl cap from 90 to 110. Why couldn't the 2.2 dungeons drop i85 gear? Philosophy no longer existed and the cap was removed from LotA. As said, the Myth cap was removed, which made i90 gear incredibly easier to get, but getting i85 gear would still have been alright. Most players were still stuck on Turn 5, after all.
- 2.3 dungeons rewarded players with i80 gear, with crafting materials being the most frequent drop. At this point, i80 gear for most players was seen as either Glamour or FC seals. As players had already spent their Myth tomes gearing their alts in i90 Mythology gear. SE should have made those dungeons drop i95 gear, slightly higher than both Myth and First Coil gear, but lower than ST and Soldiery gear. Wouldn't be BiS, but could have still been used for Second Coil.

I'm assuming the loot lock on ST will be removed for 2.4?
