Please add the ability to share a personal house with friends.

If they gave people the ability to share personal houses. It would SAVE on those limited resources, as some people could share a house instead of having individual houses thus using less resources.

IMO this is not a valid point as before Personal House implementation, FC hosues already have this "resources" issue,
and then Personal House even implemented to use the same resource ,
apparently your point is not valid otherwsie personal house will not be implemented as this way. ^^;

It's basic math. 2 people share each house=half as many houses are needed.

I remember before Personal House implementation I read a dev post that above function will be added to Private Chamber later,
So I think this function will be added to Personal hosue as well later, don't worry ^^;

Yes those resources are the same as the FC houses. But if people were given option to share, then that one less resource used up from the limited available for use by Fc & personal house alike. Thus it would save resources by allowing a share feature and potentially freeing up some of those limited resources for other players to use.

First of all, i don't object sharing, i also want to let my frd can make use of my p. house,
and I believe some of the suggested sharing functions will be added eventually.

But putting P. house in FC wards shows that SE gave the ability of "less share" for fc houses when ppl saying not enough lands,
so i don't think they will open more sharing functions due to this save resource reason.
But I think they will open more sharing functions for some other reasons ^^;

That's why not all function, especially gardening should not be shared at the moment,
I think it will prevent, at least discourage one player buy multiple houses by Alts.

I don't think they will either. I just found the person who I was responding to, arguing limited resources as a reason not for sharing as not valid considering sharing would reduce impact on resources.

That's why not all function, especially gardening should not be shared at the moment,

I could see sharing gardening as potentially problematic feature to share unless with someone you truly trusted.

As for alts, I don't believe you can add alts to a friend list? to prevent trading gil and items between them. Base sharing with someone who must be on your friend list. (I could be wrong on that)

You are correct ^^; Sorry I mess it up, players cannot add alt to frd list unless it was added very long time ago before a bug fix,
I read that those added by bug(?) remain on thier frd list.
Recently I read some posts requesting let alts share the house (account-wise), the reason was saving resource, too.
I think that's why I commented about the "save resource" reason. ^^;
