Please add the ability to share a personal house with friends.

it is predictable a single rich character would buy multiple houses by alts.

That's why not all function, especially gardening should not be shared at the moment,
I think it will prevent, at least discourage one player buy multiple houses by Alts.

I could see sharing gardening as potentially problematic feature to share unless with someone you truly trusted.

As for alts, I don't believe you can add alts to a friend list? to prevent trading gil and items between them. Base sharing with someone who must be on your friend list. (I could be wrong on that)

You are correct ^^; Sorry I mess it up, players cannot add alt to frd list unless it was added very long time ago before a bug fix,
I read that those added by bug(?) remain on thier frd list.
Recently I read some posts requesting let alts share the house (account-wise), the reason was saving resource, too.
I think that's why I commented about the "save resource" reason. ^^;

Alts are irrelevant, because alts in this game are treated like they are on a separate account, if someone wants to buy a second house on an alt character, there isn't anything to stop them. :/

95% of the houses in each ward are open for all. Nobody wonders around into other people's houses. In fact, the whole housing area is pretty much a ghost town, city center are still the places people hang out. Having a house since Jan in Mist 1, I could probably count with my fingers how many people wonder into my house. Each time, I cannot wait to welcome them and chat with them and I made a couple of friends that way. You should look at this in a positive way. There is no harm, since they cant use anything anyway. But it is not too hard to implement anyway, simple logic, in our out.

Which brings me to 2nd point, if you just want friends to be able to enter your house. Then just open for all. But if you want people to also access your stuff (garden, stable, chest). Then it is complex requirement and not likely to happen in the near future.

Your server must not be very populated. There's around 20 people just around the market board ALONE next to my house at any given time. We also have people wander into my FC's mansion on a daily basis. This feature I am asking for is also completely opposite of what I would call 'complex'. Sharing a house with one or two other people only should already be there.

I just think how to implement your idea.
For example, if the house is shared, you are the owner, right?
So you friend own his house and he shared to his partner, then, can you share your house with him?
And If you can, and can I share my house with him then?

Obviously, eveything is not important, we only need you and your bf can share your house.
But after that can your BF has his own house? if he can, can he share it with you while you are sharing yours with him? ^^;
