It isn't the same. People with family, kids, lives, illnesses, bad luck, etc. only want to experience a part of the game's story, going as far as being willing to do it for no reward at all besides being able to see said story. That doesn't affect the economy, nor gives them any advantage in any other content, so it doesn't have any negative consequence for you.

Meanwhile, bots and cheaters get an advantage, be it economical or in terms of gear (or on the probability of getting it) and/or level if applicable. Both affect everyone else in a negative way, specially the economic one.

That was a bad comparison.
