So you don't have much time to play an MMO, A genre of game known for being a time consuming grind fest.give me 7 people who can reliably learn and progress and available at my random (and when I say random, it really is random) play hours 100% of the time and maybe I can do that. Maybe. Sadly it's not possible. Learning PF take more time to fill than I have to play. Unlike the forums, I can't get into the game whenever I'd like to, and I sure don't want to be forced to do it for static reason. Yet, the only static I ever met who didn't care at all about regular events and just did things when people were on disbanded right when we killed T5.
Statics now always ask for at least 2 days of commitment. I don't have that, nor have I the will to force myself to do it.
Sounds to me you're playing the wrong game.
I'm really, really starting to get sick of this attitude. "I beat it so it's easy. If you can't beat it too then you suck and should uninstall." The thing to really be feared is people like this becoming the norm, not the rise of an "idiocracy".
So essentially, because you don't have the time whilst many other do you feel that the developers HAVE to make a story mode to fit your needs?
Turn 5 does not require a static.
People seem to be forgetting this is separate content, just like any MMO.
Name me one MMO that has gone out of their way to ensure that the raid has a 'story-mode' version.
But they can't do it, or else they wouldn't be asking for a hand out.
The genre isn't for you babes. I'm sorry.give me 7 people who can reliably learn and progress and available at my random (and when I say random, it really is random) play hours 100% of the time and maybe I can do that. Maybe. My first kill. This group was a mix of more capable players from 2 statics. We put in about 2 and a half hours practice one day then killed it on our second attempt the next.
If you don't believe me, Feel free to contact any of those players in that screenshot for confirmation.
In school, I could finish group-work for team mates that slacked off and still pass. Although, to be fair, I *couldn't* vote: dismiss them. Granted, they weren't in school to dodge pixel dive-bombs from an internet dragon. Also granted, b/c I did well at writing their essays for them, I'm now sitting at a desk writing this small memo re: why allegory doesn't work, on the clock. If I could get paid to coach seven other folks how to dodge internet dragon dive bombs, that'd be pretty awesome. Also, if I could get them all to subscribe to WTFast, too, that'd be swell. Maybe that could be a job perk.
