Only on Final Fantasy forums will you find fanboys up in arms claiming there is nothing wrong with a game that even the developers admit sucks in it's current form.

I'd be very curious to see you quote an anywhere sizable number of posts on this forum in which some alleged "fanboys" state that there's nothing wrong with the game.

I'm quite sure you're going to come back empty handed, or nearly. Which would be a further proof (if it was even needed) that strawman arguments make people look like fools (more or less like using overdramatized terms as "sucks" and similar).

400 posts in just a few days, a majority of which are insulting people who suggest anything you don't like.

Seriously, quit trolling and flaming people for utilizing our only line to the devs that we've gotten in the 6 months since the game was released. After all, we all have pretty much the same monetary investment, and are just as entitled to express our opinions as anyone else, regarless of whether or not you approve of them.

...says the one that slapped down a blanket statement about "fanboys". Which tends to be an insult, dunno if you noticed. Sorry mate, but if you feel "insulted" by discussion and conflicting opinions, then you're way oversensitive.

So you're saying that you're entitled to your opinion and I am not?
Because, you know. I'm here to express my opinion as much as you are, and if my opinion is that an idea would damage the game (or my enjoyment of the game), I will express it.
That's what "discussion" is, and forums are "discussion" environments. If you don't like "discussion" with people that happen to disagree with you, then get a blog, and turn off comments.

I'm sorry to burst a bubble here, but conflicting with your opinion doesn't make someone else's opinion less valid or worthy to be expressed.

The fact that I or others discuss your idea, doesn't make it less visible to the developers (since you seem to be concerned about the "line" to the devs), quite the contrary, since the thread gets bumped every time someone responds. Or maybe you're afraid that the devs will "prefer" the oppoising opinion and ignore yours, and as such the opposing opinion shouldn't be expressed? Sorry, but it doesn't work like that.

But since you seem to be keen on using the word "trolling", let me make you aware of the fact that someone that goes to a game's forum to tell that it "sucks" fits the very definition of a troll perfectly.

I'm still waiting, though, to see you quote the alleged "fanboys" that according to your (warped and biased) vision are spamming the forums telling that there's "nothing wrong" with the game. Please, humor me.
