I have heavey rain. There are also some silly parts to the game.
I'm saying visually WoW and pwi look silly and cartoon-y, and have the biggest subs. Where as ffxi and ffxiv have less cartoon-y graphics and the lowest subs.

Take a chill pill about mmorpg and what OTHER PPL do. You are the buzz kill in mmorpg. Having fun also is being silly. I bet you look silly playing an mmo. Getting into and cussing at the screen when something goes wrong.

for ps3 Little big planet/2 is prob the most popular game like ever. Due to the creative and silly aspects to it. And you can create your own silly levels (which are in the millions or more)

And ffxi is silly. I mean cat girls, brute men. Moogles are silly creatures. Don't get me started with lolifells :3

pro tip, hating for sake of hating just leads to being a buzz kill. Just ingore others of they bug you that much. Don't get on a soap box an annouce you hate something for sake of hating. Jump will do nothing to you in game.

Again, you're confusing correlation with causation. I already explained to you how the two things are different, but you don't seem to be able to understand that simple explanation.

You will not demonstrate any argument flapping around wow's subscription data (and even less with Perfect World, since it's a F2P game the subscription data of which means nothing).

You have a penchant for being wrong and misinformed, my friend. Little Big planet is not even in the top ten most popular games for the PS3. To be precise it's 11th.

Here's the top 10 for sales: Call of Duty Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, Gran Theft Auto 4, Gran Turismo 5, Modern Warfare, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Uncharted 2, Call of Duty World at War, Assassin's creed 2.

As you can see, your little "silly" Little Big Planet 2 is literally crushed by a nice team of games with a lot more serious themes.

This isn't the first time you take your own tastes and just assume without any base that they are the tastes of the majority.

Sorry, I explained quite in depth why I'm against the exclusion of random jumping in the game. The "hating for the sake of hating", is just an invention of yours. Pretty hilarious, but still an invention.

Just because something is serious don't mean you need to be serious. More so if it a game. I like ppl being silly it makes games fun. If i wanted to deal with serious ppl all day i would no play games and just work 24/7.

It's quite obvious that many people's enjoyment of the game is disturbed by bunny hoppers and random jumpers. Otherwise there wouldn't be threads like this in basically every forum dedicated to a MMORPG. You may enjoy it. Others don't. Many offered mediated solutions that allow the functionality of jumping without bothering other people.

You prefer all or nothing. I guess bothering other people for the sake of "sillyness" doesn't bother you.

First of all, you're wrong in presuming that jumping can only be implemented with "bunny hopping" in mind. Many games have examples where jumping up and down constantly is either not possible or is more cumbersome than traveling by other means.

Second, the idea that you shouldn't implement a feature because people could find a way to make it annoying is not a winning argument. In FFXI there was no jumping, but could people be annoying? They could run around you in circles or set /follow on your character or camp right on top of you. Does that mean we should eliminate walking? Or /follow? Or not allow people to move near anyone else? How about using <calls>, it was annoying, but was it always bad? People developed a certain etiquette around these things, and because people wanted to get along (most of the time), you often didn't have many problems. Having the freedom to use certain tools is more valuable than being restricted from useful features because it might irritate someone.

I don't really care about jumps either way, but many people do see it as a valuable traveling option in certain situations with the opportunity of further game-in use like in quests and dungeons. Sure, maybe someone will think of a way to bug you with it, but that's what etiquette, kicking people from parties and linkshells, and calling GMs are for.

They don't need to "think of a way". A way already exists, and is always widely used in any game in which is possible.

The fact that people can find other ways to be annoying isn't a reason to implement MORE elements of annoyance.

If map design is "cumbersome", you fix map design (IE the nonsensical invisible walls), you don't implement gimmicks to get around it. You don't need to buy a new car to fix a blown tire.
