I'd actually transfer in a heart beat if they didn't mess with my Gil.

This is not Gil I earned in 1.0, I didn't play 1.0 enough to abuse Levequests. This is Gil I earned in ARR, the vast majority coming from the game, rather than coming from other players (Duty Roulette/Challenge Log/etc. rewards). There is no reason that Gil should be removed; it is Gil anyone, on any server, could have accumulated over the past year.

Honestly, if you're on Excalibur and you're reading this, start selling Clear Demimateria, because I probably will buy it in order to transfer with my Gil in tact - assuming SE doesn't ban people who appear on a new server and sell tens of millions worth of Gil in Demimateria and Allagan pieces to NPCs.

If there plan here is to get people to move to less populated servers, punishing me for having Gil when I want to move server solely to enjoy a system which requires a lot of Gil... Yeah... Wish I could come up with such sensible plans as that...
