Know what would fix this issue? APARTMENT BUILDINGS in game. Sure its not some pretty house, but it gives you the feeling that its your place. Just a thought

Could do a little more with the inn room we are all given, not much, but could make it a little better.

I'm absolutely flabbergasted at the people saying "we're all equal" in this game. Uh. How exactly? If you have more resources (other player assistance, skill, TIME, gil, etc) than someone else, how are you exactly their equal...? I've never understood this way of thinking. If you want to say you're equal, then ALL variables involved in playing the game must be maintained consistently.

Go ahead and rebuttal saying "Well, you just didn't work hard enough for it so it's your fault." Then by your blanketed logic, we're all equal and have been given the same opportunities in real life as well, it's just your fault you didn't work hard enough to get to where I am.. right?

These online games DIRECTLY reflect how people act IRL. I mean look at how greedy people are about the market boards. And the cherry on the cake is the standard "rich" person response with: "I don't see a problem, stop complaining." But you know if they were put on the other side of the prosperity fence, they would be complaining just as much. It's hypocrisy at its finest.

See, part of the reason I play and enjoy these MMOs to escape the ugliness of the real world, but most of the social issues (and the people who cause them) IRL are impossible to get away from as they are just as apparent in a game. Just look in a mirror, folks.

So yes, the housing prices are ridiculous and to partition the few rich players from the rest of the player base and giving them access to exclusive content (choco raising/dyeing, gardening, housing) is ridiculous. Some people might not care about parts or all of that content, but your opinion in no way nulls someone else's opinion on the matter. If it's important to them, then gosh darn it, it is important to that person and you should respect that.

Flame me all you want, I won't be responding. This is just my two cents that I wish more people would see.

Well we "were" all equal, once. We logged in for that first time, everyone was equal. The rest is up to you.

The Same opportunities we all have regardless of anything else in our lives is the Play button and how we prioritize where clicking it.

To decry the fact that others are able to prioritize the Play button more often than oneself is petty.

Actually I was thinking the entitled generation's rebuttal would be "WE PAY THE SAME SUB YOU DO!!!" Because apparently their sub entitles them get everything they want regardless of the work they put in.

A Veteran MMO gamer knows that the experience of the game is stretched out over years, and if crafted properly, it leaves players with some of the best gaming experiences to be found anywhere.

I honestly don't see the point of housing in this game really. FC house, or how I like to call it, Guild hall, is what I've wanted a long time.

When personal rooms came out I bought one just to get the curiosity out of my system, and I fully decorated the room and then asked myself "What was the point?" There it is, a useless room that is only there to brag about it.

The same thing goes with housing really, it's a nice little decorative reminder that you have money and you can afford things, and the only real benefit from it is gardening and chocobo raising.

If SE's gonna do housing right, first off, make housing an instance, a permanent room for you where you can do small gardening benefits so FC house doesn't become irrelevant, transfer all your stuff from the inn to your room, and a bed that you can actually sleep on it.

I'd pay top dollar for that, not this decorative bs.

Well hopefully they stick with the Reduce Price by 50% every 30 days beyond the 1st 30 days so the price will drop eventually to a affordable price within 60 days.

The reality is a reduction in house price will only increase the biggest problem with the way they have handled both FC and personal housing. The biggest problem is there is not even close to enough supply to meet demand going on and patch 2.4 will not fix this. On most servers all small houses were snatched up within an hour, some within minutes like on mine and almost all medium and large houses are also taken already of which mediums go for around 35million on mine and over 80million for large, increasing the problem once more when making individuals and FC's compete for the same plots and the fact FC's and individuals are buying multiple plots for themselves further reducing the availability and supply.
