Something about a higher limit on furniture?

I want a Large house so I can decorate the living bajesus out of it, and have people come in my home and enjoy themselves.
I plan on making a nice garden, nice exterior and interior and have friends or anyone alike come and relax, or even have FC's come in and do whatever they want to.
My home is everyone elses home, that's my plan anyways...just stay away from my garden and we're cool lol.

Actually I was thinking the entitled generation's rebuttal would be "WE PAY THE SAME SUB YOU DO!!!" Because apparently their sub entitles them get everything they want regardless of the work they put in.

the sub entitles us to have access to it. if its 4M gil cool ill work hard to get those 4 million gil , but locking me out because i could not log in first is not fair. everyone pays the same sub everyone is entitled to access the same content.

Ignoring the costs of anything involved (mats for DoH, repairs, greens for choco, etc, etc) 56k a week. Lets say you also do 20 dungeons a week because you well... Live in the basement. And round that all out to 100k net profit a week.

Gil the game throws you for running 6 DR every day: 248,395g a week if you meet the "in need" bonus.
Gil the game throws at you for Challenge Log Completion: 56,000g a week.

Mats for DoH? 0 gil. Level Gathering.
Repairs. 0 gil if I wanted to be a dick about it, but I think 99 dark matter 5 costs 8k
Greens for Chocobo. 0 gil if I wanted to be a dick again, but 3.6k

TL;DR This game more or less THROWS money at you, and only 4 things in the challenge log require you to actually leave a main city instead of opening DF.
Land is the issue here, not the price.

Also the decoration thing was what I was getting at. There seems to be some constraints on funriture in both the form of space and an actual limit of the stuff you can put in it. As a result, a large house has the most space in both aspects.

Still lots of small houses for sale on Adamantoise... maybe it's an issue with specific overpopulated servers. There are even small houses left for 1.6M

My general overview of the situation from a cursory glance of the forums.

A crowd of adventurers are gathered around the housing price listings.

Lalafell Adventurer: "These prices are outrageous."

Elezen Adventurer:" How do they expect us to afford these prices in this economy."

A rich fat merchant miqote in the weaver set,smoking a cigarette on a holder strolls up.


Merchant:" Oh ho ho. What's all this then, why are all you ragamuffins blocking the road?"

There's more than enough room on the road to go around them. A hyur adventurer answers angrily.

Hyur adventurer: "We cant afford these homes on adventuring wages!"

The merchant guffahs again.

Merchant: "Oh ho ho, maybe you should all try getting a real job then."

The adventurers stare angrily back, one attempts to explain that there's no way everyone would be able to afford the housing even if everyone was a merchant. The merchant interrupts.

Merchant: "Oh ho ho, now dance for my amusement."

The merchant throws gill over an unresponsive crowd.

the lalafell adventurer dives to the ground ,scrambling to pick it up.

this is coming from someone who spent a lot of time playing the market in 1.0 and who was at one point rich enough to be that merchant.

Because it isn't possible to generate money from the server in those quantities.

1. What are you basing this on? Money is generated from a ton of sources. Dungeons are just one source.
2. Not everyone should have access to a house off the bat. It should be something to work towards considering all the other options we have.
3. Nothing here is out of unfairness. You want to make money, start making what people want. This is how trade works. The people who worked to earn that money aren't unfairly privileged for actually going for it. Please don't try to make base clean economics into an 'us vs them' issue.

Wait until they release more in 2.4 and are even cheaper than the ones now.

This really cant be their design choice. It makes them look lazy and incompetent. We are sharing the same zones as Free company's. They are taking away the main focal point of creating a Free Company by doing this. Why would they have single players compete for plots that Free Companys should have first dibs too?
I can only guess Yoshi&Team want to get rid of some more gil, that's overflowing in the game.. which is silly cause, people will amass fortunes in an mmo, there are players that only live to do that. So can we expect stuff like this every quarter of the year, that will have players dump huge amounts of gil into an in-game activity or new function. Seems paranoid to think like this and silly to waste time trying to implement ways to purge gil from the game.

They should have, and should, just make a separate instance for Personal house. Along side Free Company Instance.

-Yoshi&Team also need to give us all the items we have in those Inns and have them accessible in our personal housing.

Adding more plots every mini patch or main patch, to eventually accommodate all 6k+ player-base, along with FreeCompany club members, does not make sense to me. When Yoshi& Team, themselves, are complaining, and stating, they are having issues with server load and trying to test things before adding new plots. Making it the excuse as to why they are per-longing personal housing accessibility/purchase.

Have a zone that is within the Free company plots that leads to a single player only instance, would have made more sense.
Here the player sees everything like they would with a House in the Housing zones. except it's secluded from other pc's.
Here the player is still able to:
Garden
Decorate the lawn
Raise/train/feed chocobo
Go into house and sleep, place npcs,
Have access to Barber shop, mini game music box, Item chest, Book of cut scenes, retainers
Able to decorate room.
Is also able to give privileges to friends and soon to be spouses. For all the above. (If FF11 can have access options FF14 should be able to also.)


.... either do the above (that's in bold) or create a separate zone for the single player experience. This is what everyone is angry about. You promised a single player experience with housing and you did come through.
