    What happened to 800k personal housing?

    A while back it was stated that they wanted to make personal housing cheaper than Free Company housing. I believe Yoshi-P said that personal housing was supposed to be 850k but they were looking into lowering the cost. Now personal housing costs about as much as a Free Company house; what gives?

    Yeah man that is some shit, i cant believe on my server they expect 1 person to spend 70 million gil for a large house, way to go SE now people will flock to the RMT. Also really? 2 wards? Thats it?

    Chances are they looked at the amount of gil on the servers (like they did to price FC Housing) and more people have gil so it wad adjusted to this. Incoming RMT sales for personal housing and incoming bans left and right. Working as intended.

    Yep i have 3.2mil and even that is not enough for the smallest plot of land on my server...looks like the gil buyers and mega rich legacy players are the winners this time.

    From what I read; if I'm reading this right... Free Companies can also buy housing that could also be used for personal housing. So this is absolutely a terrible system. We all know that Free Companies are going to buy up all the lots and very few to no one will have a personal house.

    Actually these personal housing prices are the same prices as Free Company houses currently are.

    It was never supposed to be 850k, that was a mistranslation by Siliconera. Yoshi expressedly said that Takai's 850k will not be enough to afford him a house.

    However, he did say that personal housing would be cheaper than FC housing, though judging by the patch notes, that doesn't seem true.

    Can only have one FC House. They added more Wards because there's so few medium and large plots, these prices are FINE for FCs. But not for personal housing. I feel sorry for people who were looking forward to this.

    Great... I've been saving up for a long time and can only afford a small house. If the wards keep resetting back to the starting price every time they are released then it'll be a long time before I get the medium house I wanted.

    That's not going to stop Free Companies who don't already have a house from getting one.
