I'm not going to say anything rash because last time, I got banned over FC housing.

As a last resort, they simply made FC houses buyable by individuals.

I don't know. The wording in the patch notes seems to imply that you need to be in an FC that already owns land. Or it could be stating that members of FC's that already own estate can still purchase individual housing. The wording is a little vague.

I fail to see how it will be at all possible for an individual to complete against a FC for the plot they want. Sure that may be solved with adding multiple wards in 2.4 but also the promise of housing for individuals being significantly cheaper was extremely misleading.
I really didn't want to have to compete against my fellow players for a house (not that I could even afford one for months and months now...) I wish they had made personal housing more, you know, personal.

You got it wrong. The first line only clarifies that people who already own a FC house aren't locked out of owning a personal house on top.
