    Umm, last i checked we where having a debate, how does this indicate anyone making valid complaints are children? That is childish to assume as much. Anyhoo, bio, gravity, slow, paralyze, ect, ect, ect... What is the ect? All those spells you listed are are great spells i agree on that. However, i am not focusing on thm as much as the overhaul on the "MP consumption" Which last i checked will affect everysingle class in ffxiv. Not just thm/con. So, before you start talking about people QQ'ing, why dont you read the posts first then, give your feedback. /Cheers.

    Again, I picked Thaumaturge for debuffing, so I'm fine with this arrangement. But to say that this is balanced, or that this makes Conjurer a more distinctive class is not supported by the existing evidence.

    The Development Team will definitely need to make MANY more adjustments in the future.
    LOL.

    If only balancing classes was just a matter of the NUMBER of spells each class has, balancing would be an elementary process.

    Sorry, your "analysis" is based on a completely wrong premise.

    If my analysis is flawed answer me these three questions.

    What class has both the most powerful buffing spell AND the most buffing spells?

    What class has both the most powerful healing spells AND the most healing spells?

    What class has both the most powerful direct damage spells AND the most direct damage spells?

    You are right though. Quantity in each category is not as important as quality. But unfortunately, Conjurers get the quality spells also. Protect 2, Rebirth, Ancient Magic ... those are the best Buffing, Healing, and Damaging spells.

    Don't get me wrong. I do agree that THM was way too versatile and efficient versus CON. But (as SE has a tendency to do), the pendulum has swung to far the other way. Now CON is the uber-mage of FFXIV.

    A single Conjurer can:
    • Lay 6 DOT on a single mob.
    • Lay Protect 2, Shell 2, Stoneskin 2, Shock Spikes 2 on his party.
    • Cure his party AoE style.
    • Blast the mob with Ancient Magic.
    • Sleep or Repose any additional mobs.
    • Raise allies with no negative side-effects.

    Now why would any party leader invite a THM and CON combination over two CONs if he has the chance? They can do everything better except debuff!

    So my heart goes out to the Conjurers of Eorzea. It will be harder on you than on us Thaumaturges. I wish you all patience and endurance for everything that will soon be asked of you. Good luck my tree-hugging, bead-sucking, wand-wielding magical brethren!
