Now that I think about it.....not a good idea. GL stacks will reset after PB wears off. :/
There was a post on it a while back, you basically get a few extra True Strikes IIRC.

What I do which is much simpler is use PB at the start and end of the fight if applicable, ending the fight with a few Bootshines while still buffed. Nice little boost in DPS and no risk of needing it later or screwing up your rotation.

    if b4b
    bs, bs ,twsn/tru/bs, demo, dk.

if ir +b4b use true instead of bs
if you use it to burst remember to reapply demo, twin, dk as they fall off and gl3 shouldnt go away. otherwise you sacrifice all your sustain for a bit of quick burst.

I personally prefer to ir and b4b before demo/tod so for pb i would do a true after the dk, then pb,

Do people have T6 Savage Monk DPS numbers for the first phase? So that I have to know, what I should aiming for.
We tried it out yesterday for the first time, and geez, my DPS sucked, lol. Had problems to keep up stacks, etc. and we missed A LOT of DPS for phase change with one honey.

A question about my dps : I am doing between 200 and 300 dps on P1 and P2 of Turn 6 with FFXIV-APP parser. Is it normal with my stuff : http://fr.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/5771975/ ?

200-300 is too low BUT I guess you just started with T6, so you are still missing the experience how do keep up your GL stacks and mechanics, so it is okay IMO. Check out the first post for T6 help! You should at least aim for 300+ for now. With that being said your average DPS on a dummy should be at 400~ without partybuff/bufffood/pots/DK-monk.

With my group I get about 85%-90% training dummy DPS on T6 unless I'm truly devoured, not just targeted for Devour.

    Ok thanks you two.

Indeed, I am new to the fight. So basically, I should aim for something like ~350 DPS on Rafflesia. I may not be able to try it again for a few weeks so the questions are a bit in advance:
    1) when I am targetted by devour, I am stunned even if I don't get actually devoured (using LOS strat). Is there any way to avoid being stunned?
    2) when I need to be devoured, is there any way to be spitted by Rafflesia in the right direction?
    3) one of my problem for DPS is the link I think. I am not always stacked with the others when it appears. Is there any indication BEFORE they appear or is it a pure timing thing?

PS: I am moving so the thread will not be updated immediately for the next patch.

    1. You get stunned unavoidably unfortunately. The temporary stun isn't too bad on MNK, you only lose 2-3 GCDs and some positionals if you use LoS.
    2. You can hold the direction you want to be shot out. This almost always works though I think it has failed occasionally.
    3. They come on a very predictable timer, so you should know when they come up with some more practice in the fight. You can also see a debuff on your buff/debuff bar for tethers. That being said, you don't really want to stack with the group for these as they spawn, being a little bit away from each other helps see who's attached to whom and which direction you should run.

Hello,I just finished getting all my atma and I'm not working on books for the animus. I just found you have to pick the stats you put on it through the trials. By using search all I can really find is old posts of people claiming they are just going to do determination/crit an other posts here an there saying ss is the way to go. There's lots of contradicting info and I'm a bit confused. Could I get some help, please?

Not sure if you confused the steps or not, but you only increase existing stats for the Animus and you pick your stats for the Novus. So for the Animus you just increase the existing stats by picking the appropriate book (STR, VIT, SS, ACC). Once you finish the Animus then you will go on to the Novus. Once there you will have to get 3 enchanted inks (500 myth each), and then get your materia scroll. At this point you will attach materia to the scroll using Alexandrite which are obtained from a daily quest, 800 myth, 200 Allied Seals, or random drop from Fates. This is where you pick what stats you want. You can pick whatever combination of secondary stats you want so long as it adds up to 75 points. You can put a maximum of 31 DET or PIE, and a maximum of 44 ACC/CRIT/Skill or Spell Speed. So you can do 31 DET/44 CRIT, 19 ACC/19 CRIT/19 SS/18 DET, or whatever combination you want. Full DET/CRIT is popular, but another good option would be something like 31 DET/22 CRIT/22ACC if you want to include some accuracy on it. It's really up to you, and what you do in the game.
