The "issue" (380 dps on t8 is perfectly acceptable, better than many, even though it could be higher) won't be due to Crit vs SS vs Det, may make a few dps difference, but nothing that noticeable. A decent BLM will do nice DPS regardless of Crit or SS built to be honest.

It's simple maximising your dps uptime while dealing with mechanics and improving your rotation, to make the most of GCD's and any slight pauses there are.

I'd say doing HM/Ex primals is a good way to improve overall performance as a BLM, lots of practice to DPS while moving.

Once you do consistently decent DPS on those fights, T8 will feeling like hitting a training dummy.

I love Titan Ex and Levi Ex as a BLM. As Scare said (which I hoped would come across in my previous post but I probably didn't word it well) that the more practice you get with your class, the better you'll get, but its hard to give tips without seeing you actually in T8.
