Average BLM DPS T8?

My DPS isn't where I think it should be for T8. I was told that I had 360, which I feel is not well for my ilvl (109 - no HA gear; Laev).

I did however have tower duties and mine duties (if they spawned in my quarter) and I was inflicted with Allagan Field.

My Rotation is... Fire 3 > Fire 1 spam > Flare > Convert > Fire > Blizzard 3 > Thunder 1 > Blizzard (if mana isn't suitable) and repeat. Take out the Flare and Convert if Swiftcast and Convert aren't up.

Hey there, im full lvl 110. Not everything is BiS at the momement but i was told i do around 410 dps on good, even up to 450 on super good trys. that depends mostly on proccs. try to time ur rageing strikes with the dread spawning and then press out a swiftcast flare at the end of ur fire Rotation to get max dps.

My static DPS doesn't drop below 400, but on T8, I'm sketchy. Should I be using Raging Strikes when the Dread spawns and use the full rotation with him? Wouldn't hitting a flare with him out cause my DPS to pad (since hitting both Avatar and him)? I usually use my Pot and RS after Mine towers arouse so I can get a full rotation off without having to interrupt my casts. This allows it to come off cooldown during the last 10-15% of his HP.

What do u mean with static DPS? If your tank can handle ur dmg with raging strikes on the dread, then use it in that phase. i always go with 2 full rotations and then use raging with the dread.

Yes, Black Truffle Risotto is the best Food for us, if u have enough accuarcy.

The only time I flare the dread is:

1) At the end of my fire rotation with swiftcast up
2) If it spawns during my Raging strikes/swiftcast/flare rotation
3) I have a thundercloud proc (so I don't end up waiting for a mana tick after using transpose).

Even with mechanics, you should be above 400. The highest i've done with mechanics was 420, but I still wasn't anywhere near what I could get because I made a number of errors. The highest i've done with a lower amount of mechanics (two tower hits) was 440, but again, I feel I can get higher.

I personally just use Raging strikes whenever its off cooldown (as long as I don't have a mechanic incoming) and not bother waiting for a dread, i'll only wait until the start of my fire rotation.

Generally, you want to use spellspeed food if you don't have accuracy problems, provides more dps than determination food.

If your i105+ (rough estimate) Black Truffle will provide a minor stat increase over Buttons.

If you use none accuracy food, Sachertorte is far superior. Spell Speed + Det > Crit + Det.

Even normal 2 star food is much better than Buttons or Black Truffle
