This is an mmo. I know that this is new to XI players who were almost exclusively console, but here in PC land we've communicated using voice chat programs since they were invented. We use websites. We've also either banged our heads against a wall to figure out a fight, and if someone else did it before us, we've read their tips on how to do it. We've gathered in guilds to organize and tackle challenging content, and when it kicked us in the face we came back for more.

I have opinions on SE's design choices (throwing ground poo at a group until someone's network lags and wipes everyone is terrible design), but this idea that mmos should be built as if it's entirely single player content is a little... well, selfish. It sounds to me like you really just don't want to play an mmo.
