The world map has some of these names, a bit in Eorzean but it's translatable. Here is a clean version:

Where are you guys getting the name of these other continents?

From the official website, item text descriptions and dialogue. Othard is the Eastern continent, also referred to as the Far East as confirmed in Through the Maelstrom. Ilsabard is the other "Great Continent" - there being three: Aldenard, Ilsabard and Othard. Ilsabard is where the Garlean empire originated from, and seems to be connected to Aldenard by land bridge.

Well, are we sure that Doma is in the far east? On Earth Japan is in the far east and Doma is a place with asian looking Hyur, mystery women with japanese names, and ninjas, so in essence Japan. That being said they are not necessarily Far Eastern.

She also mentions in cutscenes, as well as some of her refugees, that they come from the East
