Not seeing how you got Blood Red out of Dalamud Red + Apple. If anything it's the other way around. You shouldn't be getting a lighter red shade from feeding an apple. You should try feeding more than one apple. Try giving it 3 x apples

Blood Red is the likely apple cap. (Likely, because we have yet to get a confirmation anything is past Blood Red using Apples).

Generally speaking, Blood Red + Berry = Dalamud Red, and generally Dalamud Red + Apple would bring you back to Blood Red. I got back to Blood Red from Dalamud using a Plum, personally.

So apparently Dalamud Red + Pear = Blood Red AND Blood Red + Pear = Dalamud Red. This is a weird system.

I dont understand the looping, but I'm seeing it often. If you continue with Pears on Dalamud Red you should eventually break out of the loop, likely on Blood Red.

I went Blood Red + Pear = Plum Purple, Plum Purple + Pear = Blood Red, Blood Red + Pear = Plum Purple, Plum Purple + Pear = Opo Opo Brown.

With that said, if you're aiming for Wine Red, don't go down the Pear path on Blood/Dalamud in my opinion. From my experiment with pears on Blood Red, you'd basically be going the wrong way .
