Had Kobold Brown, fed it a Plum and got Deepwood Green. Fed it a Valfruit and got Kobold Brown again \~_~)/ I don't understand, sigh.

Try feeding two plums now at Kobold Brown, make sure you get two feather messages. I think there's RNG involved here but you're close.

I'll give it a shot, but I'm more mystified that I managed to loop to the original color using two different lightening fruits.
