Novus was my favorite part. Multiple ways to get alexandrite.

People puy too much emphasis on the secondaries. Yes 44crit 31 det is best for a lot of jobs. But if you don't have 15mil do ~25 Acc 25 crit 25 det. 14 mil cheaper and ACC never hurts especially with 2.4 on the horizon.

Yeah, Novus was pretty good once hunts were introduced and myth dropped from everything.

The books sounded fun at first, but it became a chore toward the end, when you realize they are all pretty much the same book. They didn't even try to mix things up, nope, the same 10 mobs in castrum, same 10 kobolds in the mines, etc.

It won't be ivl 115, the s*it storm that bring bring on the forums will be too much.
this would make Novus BiS, better than coil since u get to pick the stats.
My guess is the appearance will change, to be honest I want different looks on novus, warrior relic is just horrendous lol.

And you forgot how the Zenith => Atma generated how much QQs over here?

Either way you will get complains. But unfortunately, the number of people with HA weapons to complain are much lesser than the number of Novus owners who will complain about how much they have to do for a cosmetic update. You get the point.

Nonetheless, who knows what happens. In any case if Novus upgrades its IL, it will be merely a 3-4 weeks thing before 2.4 hits

The new relic weapon will be i120 in 2.38 and will better than High Allagan. Get over it. People act like it'll take one day to get it. The new Raid weapon will be be i135 and the next relic weapon will be i130 by 2.48 at the latest if the trend continues.

This needs a little correction. It will be only better IF we get stats upgrades. If it's like Zenith -> Atma, itl won't change anything and it won't make a difference. So no, it wouldn't be better than High Allagan. And we don't know yet about that info, so anything said here is pure speculation.

It'd be glorious if the weapon did increase to i120, but the next part of the quest came after Alisaie's Resolve to make the filthy casuals finish T9...

I don't care what kind of new challenge they force upon us on the next Relic storyline but I don't want FATES and neither ATMAS in it!

The next step isn't too difficult to figure out what it *could* be.

So far what has it included?
1)Fates
2)Killing mobs out in the wild and more fates
3)Treasure maps and Materia
.....

So what's left? That's your answer. They probably won't repeat a step over again. Whatever it is, it probably won't make you pick up a skill you don't have (even if it might help), so that rules out fishing for example. I really doubt it would include instanced raid content due to the amount of trouble that would cause for the instance servers (remember when everyone was farming auram vale to level and it was laggy to even step foot in there?).

1)Demimateria
2)Notorious Monsters (I.E "the hunt")
3)Grand Company Stuff
4)Beastman tribe dailies / Rep grinds

As far as a upgrade and what ilvl it will be. Have we had any upgrades so far that didn't change the ilvl? Nope. Do we have reason to believe the ilvl won't increase? It's probably not going higher than High Allagan weapons though as they have stated they actually want people to go fight current raids and not just refuse to go. Even if it was the same ilvl, you could still get High Allagan weapons a whole lot faster if you could get turn 9 on farm. Of course, then you only have a 1 in 9 shot of actually getting the one you want.

The funniest part is that people are assuming that the next "part of the story" automatically means upgrade. I mean, sure, it COULD mean that, but it doesn't mean it will be. It could just be prep for the next upgrade, not the upgrade itself.
