Perhaps it's cultural difference between the EU and US which play part in this, seeing as to how both your server and Risvertasashi are US based and in US people in general can be a tad more advancement minded in life. However I must say that out of the people who join my FC there's a very small fraction which leaves after we help them through T5 or other content.

Another possible factor in play could be our requirement for new members to first apply to our website. In general for guild hoppers this proves a barrier most don't want to go through.

Even though if about 80% or so would leave again though, does it truly matter? Yes, it's a bit unrewarding obviously after you help them out. However, it's a quick and easy help. And the investment in those who do decide to stay can be more than worth it in the long run.
