What exactly is the point in this? That Best in Slot Gear your referring to is also useful for vanity.

My problem right now is, not only is the new vanity gear blocked by 8 ( 6 if you dont count weather and time) walls of RNG, but it also seems like having better gear seems to be make it worse. I've had fish "get away" more often when I got my supra rod than i did with the forager one.

Most of the best in slot gear is ugly. Hence, why we even bother to have vanity. Also, it was a joke.

just got epicly trolled by the game so the impossible fish Olgi got an HQ meaning I cannot even use it because its either x3 HQ or x3 NQ the NPC does not want to mix and match *sigh*.
