Is SE ever going to fix hunts

SE said that they will nerf content when it gets obsolote , echo is their way to nerf it ...is the easy way to do it , no need to change mechanics ,just buff players %

I just don't see that many people getting past turn 7, even with echo. Too many mechanics that one person can screw up and cause instawipes. I can already see the posts of people begging for it to be nerfed.

Anyway, as for the original question: short term? no. After over a month, all we can expect is a slight(focus on slight) increase of daily mark rewards. Whether or not you enjoy the hunts the way they are now, everyone should be able to see that it is, hands down, THE way to gear once you hit 50. You just go into ST as many times as you need to get the tomestone of the class you're playing, maybe get your relic up to zenith and ignore upgrading it further, and just hunt till you're ilvl 105-109. Then do that for the next class or quit the game till 2.4. I mean, even WoW doesn't give you gear this quickly.

Echo doesn't work when the fight in question happens to be leviathan EX, Titan EX, Turn 5...

if echo isn't making leviathan ex an absolute joke for your group something is going very, VERY wrong and you wouldn't have a snowball's chance in any T5+ content anyways

seriously if you don't know the mechanics then whatever, learn them, but levi ex is a fight where echo should completely trample an already fairly simple encounter

T5 is honestly made a lot easier with the echo, it trivializes dps checks and makes heal checks much easier, all it asks you to do now is handle the mechanics

It doesn't help people dodge, but it sure as hell helps killing them faster.

Yeah, well this is probably going into more than one problem at once anyway. There are players who just can't complete content and think they can get by if they have the echo buff and everyone carries them. The issue is that with fights like Levi EX, unless that person is playing a dps role the Echo buff does little to help the situation, since healing Levi EX solo becomes a problem with the mirror debuff and one tank isn't going to be able to handle both the tail and the head along with sahagin. But that is part of the reason Yoshida is trying to change how they are building end game content: He wants the echo buff to enable people to get past content, even the people who seem utterly incapable when it's relatively recent content.
