    Ok, then maybe they should drop the console player or make them have their own servers. I don't care what excuse or lie a console system player wants to use, there is no reason to limit a game to such a low end system in today's market.

    The dust bunnies in my tower have more processing power then a ps4...

    people realise that with stuff like this, more and more, the actual good players that can prove it will group with randoms less and less, already is happening, the good players dont like being backed into a corner to being forced to boost other players without the right to have a say on the matter, the more restrictions put against good players, the more they will turn their backs to everyone else.

    And the sad thing is with this, its been confirmed that we cant get more QOL on the default UI due to the game already maxed on the memory for the PS3, so basically, we have to deal with a sub par UI due to the PS3 or even more customisation to it.

    Im not a fan of mods really, the UI is customizable enough as is, and I dont think we need in game parsers or damage meters. Nor anything like DBM for WoW, because that just leads to the game developers getting complaints of easy modes and being forced to take them into account when designing encounters.

    If you need a parser, just use or create one to be view outside of the game.

    If Squenix didn't want people to use parsers, they wouldn't have put fights in the game which depend on a DPS check before a hard enrage on timer that wipes the party.

    This is how they designed the game, so there will be parsers because people want to know WHY they wiped when they hit the enrage.

    If SE had wanted people to use parsers, they would have been built into the game. Please, stop using the same tired excuses for being bad.

    So you are saying that even though SE has said they don't want people to use parsers, they actually want people to use parsers? If I use your logic since you are a fan of parsers, that means you really don't like them?
    As for wanting to know your group wiped when they hit enrage, it's simple you didn't kill it fast enough as a party, figure out how to increase your party dps, these fights can be done without parsers. I will agree that a parser can help identify problems, but they are in no way required.

    This is such a stupid argument. So what you're saying is, Squenix didn't want people to know what % HP the boss was at, and suddenly now they did so they added it in a recent patch? Features are added to the game when they have a chance to add them, like mob % HP on their health bars. This game is full of boss fights where phase changes occur at a certain % HP, it would have been nice at launch but Squenix did respond to player feedback and add it.

    Most companies try to improve MMOs during their lifetimes, who's to say they won't add an official DPS meter into the game when they finally implement addons?

    They've actually said they won't, at least not for groups. HOWEVER they DID say that addons will be allowed to view data the client has access to, such as damage information. So an official one won't happen, but a player made one certainly could happen.
