I still believe there's more to that, like balance issues. But either way, what exactly is a killer effect? From the OP I thought it would mean a damage increase.Saying "stressful to players" is Yoshida's words and his word for: "It would make the player have to think, we want everything simplified." This is why he got rid of 'shell', having to manage "too many spells' was deemed 'stressful.' It wasn't about balance. Besides, killer effects are in no way unbalanced or would cause imbalance - the fact you can plop virus on an enemy is more balance breaking than a short paralyze effect.
