Your thoughts on the direction of this game?

I already posted a lot of times my feelings about this game, but you have a resume of it in my sig, lets just say this game feels like an insult to our intelligence.

This game was made for "First time MMO'ers" in mind.
They've watered this game down to a core, where even a Simepleton as myself, knows what to do. That's why.

Here's my problem: They re-use content, many...many times. I am ready for an expansion to explore other places to be honest.
See new things. The HM dungeons are basically a re-hashed to of the NM dungeons...What gives? I was happy when we got Hullbreaker Isle.
Something new.

I'm also so tired of fighting Primal's already in x different amounts of level's.
You also got Gear Treadmill [I think I am using this term correctly?] As Kiara said.
Every 3 months, time to gear up. Please...just please give me Golden Saucer and Personal Housing.
Glamour is kinda fun...but with any restrictions and I can't dye other pieces like in GW2 it's meh.

And i respect that, but tell me, are you fully satisfied with being railed through the game? i mean, everything and everyone should have a learning curve, but this game feels like if it were permanently stuck in the tutorial phase.

There were concerns expressed during the beta about the classes being too simplistic at low levels, as well as the difficulty of content being so easy. The response was that the difficulty was set at that level as part of a greater learning curve. So the response was to tell us what we already knew. I don't think our opinions from the beta have really shaped the content all that much since then.

I don't mean none of our feedback is listened to. Clearly they listened to us about adding more stuff to the open world and delivered on it (with mixed results). They are making some new classes as asked. I think the lockouts are a major issue right now, as well as static party sizes. Parties need to be able to accommodate varying numbers of people to deal with the damage dealer bloat.

Definitely agree. Recently came back from 6 month break, Got ilvl90 gear and then started on soldiery tome grind but realized that a) since I don't do any of the hard fights, I don't need it and b) the soldiery gear will almost inevitably be much easier to get when new gear is released so why grind on it now?

So all I am doing now is gathering and saving money for personal housing and golden saucer hoping that will be all I hope for.
