Yes - but decreased almost to half comparing to good status. On lvl 6 choco you'll get:
+2940 / +3920 / +4900 XP from Poor / Fair / Good states
so with more chocobos stabled and considering cost / accessibility of the choco food it's quite benefitial to keep the stables clean.
My FC has been gardening nonstop since it was first released. We can make the brooms as well as anything else. I do think the mats for the brooms are a little ridiculous for something that's a one time use but my biggest concern is trying to keep up with the glazenuts and broombush while trying to figure out the crossbreeds for the chocobo foods. With a medium sized house and a maximum of two of the large deluxe gardens, it's hard to keep those going when so many things now demand garden space. The time/demand/purpose needs to be better balanced for this "casual" activity. I'd suggest rethinking the magic stable broom idea and let us focus on growing different foods for our chocobos. Perhaps just making a regular craftable broom available at an npc in town would solve this problem.
Kio, I can tell you in my case you are correct. I feel no desire to mess with this stable crap. Gardening, raising, and breeding Chocobos was a pretty crappy system in XI as well so I figured they were only going to make it even more convoluted. I really dont get XIV at all. The game itself is so insanely easy and then SE installs these small chunks of fluff content that are just ridiculous in comparison.

You're overthinking it. Each broom lasts 3 days about, so a stack of brooms lasts two months. That's 1 glazenut and one broombush every two months. If you're not yet at the point of producing glazenut/broombush seeds you have a point. Even so you'd only need 4 slots out of 16 over the course of a month to successfully crossbreed the seeds, and hell you can crossbreed thavnairan onions off of both the nuts and the bushes eventually.... my biggest concern is trying to keep up with the glazenuts and broombush while trying to figure out the crossbreeds for the chocobo foods. With a medium sized house and a maximum of two of the large deluxe gardens, it's hard to keep those going when so many things now demand garden space. .
Either way, they're nerfing the mats soon and/or adding them to vendor.
Chocobo Stable Concierges,
I know that some players have been struggling to keep their stables fresh and clean for their fellow adventures. We touched on this briefly during the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE, but just to reiterate we are planning to make adjustments to the magicked stable broom in patch 2.35.
We’ll be announcing the details of this adjustment in the patch notes the day the patch goes live.
Colby "Grekumah" Casaccia - Community Team
when would be the patch notes out?
What needs to be done about this is that unless the thing is in use it stays clean.
I don't even put a bird in there and the damn thing gets messed up? I just don't see how that's possible unless I have some hobo sleeping in there at night.
Also if I use it like a few times I can see it getting messy but with no use and no chocobo in the stable like I said I don't see why it's getting messed up.

The three exp gains are:
Poor - 0.6% of exp cap at current level
Fair - 0.8% of exp cap at current level
Good - 1.0% of exp cap at current level
For a Rank 9 chocobo where the exp to rank 10 is 1200000 that means:
Poor - 7200 exp
Fair - 9600 exp
Good - 12000 exp
