Not even sure how to respond to this. It's painfully clear you don't care about balance but do a wonderful job showing the community the exact nature of the imbalance complaint. The things you list are the key complaints with Hunt system and why everyone has abandoned all other content for it. People will always prefer easy over difficult.Doesn't matter why they don't want to do the old content, they just don't want it. They are choosing to do the hunts because they prefer the hunts over the other crap.
Rewards includes: Fun, gear, gil and is based on efficiency (x per hour).
Hunts give the best Myth, soldiery, seals for alexandrite & upgrades for 100 to 110 and is far more entertaining then wiping due to some idiot in a dungeon.
Not even to mention I can get into a hunt pt within 10 minutes of logging in, why on earth would I want to wait in DF for 30 minutes for something that offers less?
Crying to SE saying the content more players prefer is ruining the game because they don't want to play with you is childish.

Riiight, because spamming Medica is sooooo much fun when fighting a B rank mob amongst a horde of 100-500 players. Seriously, when I ran to an area to do my Alex map, I found a horde of players standing around the Syrup mob and... it's just ridiculous in my eyes. Hunts can be fun if you do B ranks alone or with two others and A ranks are way more fun when fighting in a Light or Full party (if this is what you do, then ignore everything I've said). In a horde, it's just... it's worse than FATE's, as it rewards players with the potential of getting ilvl110 gear/weapons by just facerolling their keyboard.
from morning i'm trying to get CT run with no luck, i used to get it in 10 min as a tank.
This amuses me. 90% of the content outside of one activity has become broken that people would like to do, yet daring to suggest to change ONE activity makes them selfish. "Wah, I get easy loot please don't change MY activity". If you are doing hunts for the fun, what do you care if it get's balanced? I enjoy the activity, I care not for the loot (though it's a plus).
I've actually noticed an increase in Labyrinth, ST (near instant queueing) and Upper Level dungeoning as of late in my world.
It's the lower levels that are virtually dead and take at least 15 minutes as a DPS.
PF is very much alive too and I was able to put together a ThornmarchEx party in 5-10 minutes the other night. The best part was, most everyone knew the fight. I still see multiple parties try TitanEx, SCoB and T5 regularly, not mentioning T2 farming parties and even RamuhEx parties. LeviEx farming is practically dead though. I think people are getting bored of hunts now and want to use their gear to begin tackling the fights they feel they weren't strong enough to win before.
The only thing that bothers me is how accessible the Lvl.110 weapons are still. Gear is one thing, but I've seen a massive increase in 110 weapons over the past two weeks. Given they compete easily with Novus, I don't think it's that healthy unless SE has some serious weapon updates next patch.
Thanks, I was struggling myself thinking how to respond to that bs.
The system is way broken. The reason why they put lockouts, which was explained to Yoshida himself, is to prevent the high level gear to lose their value. That's why Coil has lockouts since the first Coil. That's why Labyrinth and Syrcus have lockouts. That's why you're locked with 450 sold tokens each week. Even if it's a "catch up patch", as some people usually say, they're literally giving people 3 months (if it's not more) of free loot on an item that is locked on some of the current content. They didn't even include the sands of times in Syrcus because of that! The system itself could work, if they add a lockout to the amount of seals you can get or a lockout on the sand/oil acquisition.
SE just needs to do like FFXI did and add longevity to content. It is absurd for it to become nearly obsolete each patch.
Totally agree this, but it is too late to fix it now, damages have been done, nowadays you can see people have full upgraded soldiery weapons and gears everywhere but most of them still can't pass the T6 or even the Twintania with 50% echo buff!!!

Yeah, add lockouts to hunt. Lockouts are so much fuuun. I love when I log and I can't do nothing because of lockouts! Thanks, I was struggling myself thinking how to respond to that bs.

Pls Yoshida-San, but lockout behind logging to!
