In FFXI it just zoned you back on a chocobo, to dismount while zoning you had to hit the dismount button then zone, if you were still on chocobo it would dismount you while you were zoning
It's been awhile since I have played FFXI. Either way, it is the same as what I meant. When the player hits that zone for the city, the game could just force them to dismount, losing their rental.
