Playstation 3 Limitations going forward

PS3 players can just get a SSD and see Odin, Behemoth, Hunts, etc. without it being a lag fest if they can't afford a PlayStation 4 or high-end PC at the moment. Its by far the best investment you can do if you want to play this game with little to no issues on PS3.

By the time Square Enix drops support for PS3, I'm pretty sure most, if not all, players would have migrated to PS4. I don't think it will hinder how Square Enix designs content if they already implemented content which PS3 players can't do.

You're implying SE Will ever drop PS3 support. If you look at their other MMORPG, they're still supporting the PS2. Lately it runs terribly and the content for people on other platforms has to be gimped because of dev admitted "ps2 limitations"

They already stated they'd consider it sometime after the first expansion depending on the player numbers.

I want to enter and leave the cities seamlessly again.

I miss that.
