    I can agree with that. I didn't realize anyone was actually running with full healer comps. I've been in groups that have taken down 3-4 healers (they didn't seem to know what they were doing though), but I've never seen a full 8 person party. That wasn't a part of OP's list of complaints though.

    I'm sorry OP but I'm going to have to agree with megaking

    AT OP, DID YOU KNOW:
    That BRDs suffer a potency reduction BASED on distance. If you are too close to a target, potency/damage is greatly reduced. If you are TOO far from a target potency/damage is greatly reduced. There is a sweet spot ranged of about 13 yalms (about one repelling shot +extra)
    Most BARDs don't know this though.

    BRDs are fine. Also healers are fine, most people in frontlines are new to pvp and just don't know how to dish out damage or know how to BURST/coordinate stuns. The BRD distance thing is a good example^ ALOT of people don't know that, so they can't pressure healer enough or just bad range positioning when they spike/burst

    edit: nvm reread. 8 healers hmmmmmm.. certainly sounds like trouble....

    Healers are fine as is.
    If there are 8 Healers in a group:
    1. You just leave, and cap something else
    2. You try to cc them and kill them 1by1
    3. You fight and wait for LB2((which just kills everything inside)(or LB1+Flare))

    The only thing I hate about the pvp here is that as a healer..anything can literally interrupt your cast. That and flare is a pain to deal with.

    So what makes you think I have very little experience with PvP? Also I'm posting on behalf of 3 player who live in 1 house who have all put input in on this and have had quite a bit of PvP chance in other MMOs not just FFXI and FFXIV. Its not the worse PvP (I think Warhammer age of reckoning earned that and WAR thinks Aion was the worse) but we all agree it isn't the best either.So what makes you think i have very little experience with PvP? For one of the most "balanced" PvPs it sure seems to have alot of flaws with being able to abuse tricks against casters (and to a degree a healer casting as well) that should be adressed since they are the only jobs that cannot auto drop there damage like the other jobs.

    As for the potency reduction for BRD not being in a sweet spot its pretty much the same way Imperial Guard kill anything in Warhammer 40k. Put enough shots into and it will die. Since they have great ACC its not a problem to land the hits even while backing up from incoming targets.

    Also the fact anyone thinks ring around the caster is fair is beyond me.

    What makes the random reader think you don't know what your talking about? Your original post.

    I further lost faith when someone called you out on not exactly being battle tested in FFXIV, and your respond with 6 other MMO's and how 3 people living in one house means your opinion is valid. This isn't me saying your opinion isn't though. This is me confirming it looks like you haven't had a ton of experience based on what you said.

    For example. I love PvP. In all games. I have rose high in rankings, in many games and formats. Here is the past year alone.
    Rank 1 in: Skulls of the Shogun, all multiplayer leaderboards.
    Rank 1 in Monaco: what's yours is mine 17/32 maps.
    5th for 3 lane maps in guardians of middle earth, 32nd for 1 lane maps.
    Street Fighter 4: Ranked 1 for arcade score for months straight, 4th best win ratio/rank for Abel.
    2nd in our NHL league,

    All of that? Means nothing in FFXIV PvP. My 3200 matches in wolves den, and my 40 matches in front lines does though.

    Agreed. This is Final Fantasy XIV ARR. It's not any of those games. Most of the people in here have put in thousands and thousands of legitimate PvP matches through Wolves and soon enough frontlines.

    uhhhhh wut... lol.. if you can stand there all day shooting shit as a bard then the opposing side you are fighting against isn't doing their job right.

    Good casters can dish out ridiculous damage. Most people are just new to pvp in this game.

    Really wish they'd make frontlines/wolves den match wins/losses visible on lodestone

    EDIT: Also another thing, if you are having trouble casting, then COMMUNICATE with your team to peel for you. This game is about TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION

    I really agree with this at present. Natural spell interupt is way too high which one of the reasons why you dont see many casters in pvp at present and a ton of bards. In fact they really need to take this out of pvp altogether and make ppl rely on thier skill making pvp more skilled.

    I think everything else is pretty well balanced bar LB's but hey if you stupid enough to stay in aoe LB its your own fault.
