At that point the you might ask what's the point of even having any of the systems that allow us to personalize our character more? Why even let us create characters in the first place? Why not just give us handful of characters to choose from with no other options to change their appearance?
That is a lot of slippery slope. .

Also you went to a point that wasn't even the right direction (colors weren't a point of OP or people counter to OP, and no customization options at all..?).. These customization are more of personal choice, if I was colorblind or if I just made my system as such (which I can) it wouldn't harm your blue dye one bit. You would still be happy with your colors even if I couldn't see them. I agree there are secondary points to these customization options, but I would confidently argue the main priority is to customize your view of your own character and that other player's view of your character is a secondary.

As if my view was the primary many metal bikini's would be changed; however, obviously my vision is secondary to your primary vision of yourself, supporting what I said above- that the primary purpose of vanity is not my vision of you. Hence a sacrifice of a secondary issue for those who would find the force of the secondary onto a primary as too much seems like a reasonable compromise (allow all vanity options in pvp, add a toggle).

If not more relating to frontlines I won't respond to the next reply though, I'm very good at derailing and to lower our GM's and CM's stress I will try not to... XD

It would be incredibly boring to forever see most people wearing whatever the current gear tier is. Crafted ilvl90/Soldiery/Second Coil/Syrcus Tower is our current tier and I for one don't want to see everyone running around in mostly Crafted ilvl90/Soldiery/Second Coil/Syrcus Tower mix-and-match. It would be bland and uninteresting. Which brings us back to the entire point of the vanity system, which is to allow players to further diversify their character's appearance, which in turn helps to alleviate the issue of everyone looking the same because we all wear whatever the current flavor of the patch gear is.
All very reasonable and understandable desires, and none of this does a toggle affect. Since the toggle would be local, only a person who turns it off is effected (its like when you turn down the number of characters on screen, this has no affect on anyone else - usually lol).

(This is a pseudo-response, it doesn't count lol. I don't mind talking about the toggle and such, I just dont want to turn this thread into that topic when the OP didn't intend it. So trying to keep posts about that down )
