    Please keep in mind, while this sounds like a logical request, but it is new, so everyone and their 6th in-law in line will be there to hit on these mobs. No different then back when a FATE usually didn't last longer then 2 minutes in any zone. Today? You will be lucky if you can find one full party doing FATEs at a given zone at peak hours.

    Give it time, the "I must do this now" feeling will fade with it, and by then, you will wish you can get enough people together to do the marks.

    If doing FATEs gave you sands, everyone and their mother would be doing them too, and they would be doing them up until and past the release of 2.4.

    Agreed. The issue doesn't really lies within The Hunt itself, but with the rewards. They're really too high compared to the rest of the content introduced in 2.3.
    I don't want them to nerf The Hunt, but some incentive to keep the rest of the content alive and healthy would help driving some of the players away from the Hunt and would make it work like they probably envisioned it while solving some of the issues.
    Like removing freaking filtered water and cooking sherry from boss chests and replacing them with something worthwhile (like something akin to the blood spattered books with a lowish drop rate) would be a nice first step.

    Actually, the reward isn't the issue. The issue is everyone is at the gold (sand) rush. ATM you have everyone rushing to get the new gears, once the hardcore players are done, the numbers will become less. This isn't new, as we have seen it many times with all the seasonal events, as well as with any new item releases.

    We just finished day 3 on the new patch, wait and see how many people are still at those hunts 2 weeks from now.

    I'm really hoping you end up being correct about this.

    Though, with progression tied to it, I'm doubtful. IMO the only progression tied to this should be Alexandrite.

    Hunting Permits

    Make Elites like area leve quest you cant touch it unless you paid with a point, and to go further limit it to only that area.

    Give like 10 permits a day to hunt. Once your permits are used up you can't hunt any more.

    Limiting the number of hunt players can do daily would definably help this issue.

    As someone posted yesterday in another thread (sry don't recall your name).
    The problem is the rewards are too damn good, so everyone and their families are going after marks.
    It's a fast way to sands/oil, and it's also fast myth and soldiery.

    What SE needs to do is space ppl more, you want big groups of ppl doing different things in game....not 3/4 the server doing just one thing.

    I would like if SE:
    - Lowered or removed the myth & sold reward for killing a mark.....this will send a lot of ppl back to dungeons/roulette/CT because they need their tomes.
    - Makes Sand/Oils/Alex purchasable with Wolf Marks....this will send a lot of ppl to frontlines and wolf den.
    - Slightly increase the daily hunt reward...random mobs for 1 seal is a joke, and most FATE NM have more HP and are harder than a B mark....yet a B mark is 5 seals and the FATE NM is 2.

    The problem isn't that sands and oils are purchasable.

    It's the items that GET you said sands/oils. Make THOSE not purchasable and we'll see how much zerging Rank B and A marks there will be. S will still be a zergfest as those can drop books. That isn't so much the problem as from what I've seen people still don't know how to make even the Garlok pop.

    I I've the rewards and how hunts are. Just up the hp of the. Mobs. Leave the sands and oils for the people who can't get a group and whatnot to do coil.
