I'm pretty sure you can hunt the previous week's hunt if you don't accept the hunt for the new week (daily marks work like this). So if you want to kill Naul, you've got a better chance if you wait till maybe thurs or so of next week to do it when everybody will flock after the new weekly hunt.

It's not the best ever solution, but it can help given the current system.
