You're right. Which is why the original Star Wars, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were all terrible movies that everyone of any intelligence and taste considers to be terrible despite them being among the top ten movies of all time by domestic ticket sales.
