I'll stand around as a healer and not do anything. My main is a healer, and when I do random tank runs and I see a healer is just standing there,
I take offense to that since it's what I consider my main. I've even told a guy "Hey, you aren't
really doing anything, you should help with dps ^^". He was a scholar and starting spamming
ruin. WAT
If I wanted to DPS I would have queued as a DPS (SMN).

That's fine if you don't mind slower completion times for yourself and your groups, but I don't see why you wouldn't want to contribute as much as possible. A DPSing healer in a faceroll dungeon speeds up the process considerably.
A better idea is to go SCH, summon your pet, follow the tank, and AFK. As long as the tank is getting heals you don't have to do anything right?

Then you aren't doing your jobs full potential hunny ^^
SE gave you spells to deal damage, and as a scholar you have
a much easier task as healing and dpsing. If you are just standing there
you definitely won't get my commendation :P
