I've had people rage at me for using a LB on the 2nd boss of Wanderer's Palace, and making the next big pull take a total of 30 seconds from start to finish (up from roughly 15 it would have taken using the caster LB. ) That was literally their entire problem was 30 seconds, it was worse to them than the "wasted" LB. You would be amazed...

That's just reminded me of an Ifrit HM I did the other day, about 15-20% left of its health left with 3 people down and a healer uses lb3 to get everyone back up, tank spends the rest of the fight raging at the 'noobs' who used the healer lb instead of a melee lb, and that they "should go kill wolves in Twilight online", which was pretty fantastic really.
