Why exclude people from Chocobo raising?

I only hope that they will eventually do the chocobreeding and gardening on the personal houses and that you can get a decent sized house, not the one room mog house from FFXI. It sounds like the furnishings and such wont affect you at all either, thats a bit disappointing. Still can't wait for all these systems to get flushed out!

They said that the FC rooms would be a little bigger than the FFXI Mog House. So I would hope the personal houses would be somewhere around the FC ones LOL.

heres the problem with a lot of people lol....

1. people complain about not having an FC....well join or make one. This game is better when played with friends, imo.
2. people complain that houses are too expensive and don't want to put in any effort to get one.
3. people complain that they need gil to "buy materia" for novus when they could just spiritbond and save a bunch of gil.

smh, you instant gratification crowd need to just go away. Anything of value takes time and effort unless you are extremely rich and if you're complaining about 2 and 3, I have a feeling you might not be.

Maybe i am on the wrong server, so yea, just punish legacy players more, all is ok!

Lets compare pricings of MATERIALS, MATERIA and GEAR... I wonder who sees the light then.

You are already excluding yourself form all the benefits of being part of a FC. So this is just another benefit.

I'd like to offer a reason to all those suggesting 'why not buy a small house they are only X amount?'
Well, I personally think its a bit cheeky calling them a house, they're barely an office. A more appropriate term would be 'shed'
I don't even consider them big enough for personal housing let alone for an FC, even a small one. I certainly wouldn't part with 2m gil for one.

well that is your rightful opinion and you have every right not to buy one if that's the case. still means you wouldn't have access to all the fc housing benefits which for at the moment includes chocobos. 2 mil isn't just your house either land is and always will be most of the expense. I like how the small ones look, actually suit a 5 man fc just right or a couple who started an fc together just so they could have a small house before personal housing comes out. again this is all your choice, buy it or not, some people like some don't.

Japanese (the language) can function without the subject or acting agent in a sentence. English, however, can not.
So when translating they will have to add a subject, and the general 'you' is one of the easiest (and most versatile) solutions.

IMO, she didn't act like a NPC bcoz a NPC would response to you immediately,
apparently she was a PC that treated you as NPC... ^^;

They say the FC rooms would be the size of the first floor from a small house.
No info about personal house size. I still think that we can also buy the 3 sizes S, M and L for personal houses with enough gil.

I have no sympathy for people who make this kind of complaint. You choose to exclude yourself by adopting an anti-social attitude to playing an MMO. Even if it really pains you to chat to others, it would be a piece of cake to join up to an FC with a house for the sole purpose of getting the benefits such as choco stables. If you can't bring yourself to send an application to one of the copious FCs that advertise themselves in chat then that's on you. Don't whine that SE is excluding you...just wait until porters give you some kind of access or take the plunge and get signed up.

I'll never get why people erect their own obstacles and walls and then try and make out that others are the ones who have obstructed them, which is 100% the case here.
