No, I think the solution would be to have an easy mode without the rewards. The hardcore players can keep on doing what they are doing and the casual can clear the content they want and not feel left out.

No carrot on the stick means the chocobo stops running.
Or in other words: No loot means peple do it once then never again
From my experience in other games, I really don't see it working all that well. Some people are ok with it and willing to do something like you've asked for, but many want the better stuff, not no loot or sub par loot.
And like others have said, these encounters aren't all that difficult, especially when compared to other MMOs.
It will never cease to amaze me how this exact problem has already been addressed in other games, in exactly this way, YEARS ago, and yet SE insists on going through the growing pains as if this is the very first time such issues have ever come up.
Tiered raiding systems that have content for hard core and casual with different tier levels of reward is the answer. It's a good answer, too. Give better gear and special titles to those who do hard core content, while building a bridge into that content for casuals to play and even those hard core players to supplement their gearing up. It's win win for everyone.
For Titan EX and T5, just for progression, I'd be fine with that.
Unless helping or getting it in roulette nobody is doing easy mode primals.
Apart from that. T5 isnt exactly hard. Movement failure and not knowing whats going on, No I haven't cleared it, but a bard can't do a lot if the tank dies for not being in Neurolink.
Titan Ex.... I am actually considering mercenary services, I am getting sick of those "derp" groups that call themselves farmgroups only to die to an easy avoidable WoL or killing others by placing the WoL badly

I think a better solution would be to introduce practice modes of these dungeons(and the trials).
the difficulty levels are the same, but there is no major loot(you still get things like gil and such) and you don't get the penalties like gear wear.
the idea being to allow you to keep going till you get the machanics of it.
you still get small rewards from it but no gear(afterall why would you bother with the real versions of the dungeon then)

Oh and by played I meant sat in DF or PF hours on end to find the group was screwed before it started by lag or players lying to get in advanced groups.
Get a FC, expecting to clear content in DF and PF for one of the hardest raids (pre nerf/echo) is your first mistake. Second mistake is assuming the sword drops from there (like 0/20 on it myself).
People who expect wins in DF, hell even PF are the ones screwing themselves. You need to find a good FC with people who are looking to down the same content as you are so you can meet multiple times per week, set up a strategy, work on said strategy in fight and grind out a win. Our FC is up to T8 right now, we raid 3 days a week two hours per raid, each turn has been a new challenge but we've been able to beat them after putting in the work to do so.
Everything you said can be done in a LS. My LS group is on turn 9 heavensfall after 7 weeks raiding together starting on turn 6.Get a FC, expecting to clear content in DF and PF for one of the hardest raids (pre nerf/echo) is your first mistake.
