That makes it so you don't get easily rewarded for playing the game not as intended in content that is supposed to be hard.
    Since when is soldiery, weathered ilvl 100 gear, suddenly ilvl 110?

    Only thing with an actual reward is coil. 100 pieces of gear and lasts between major patches.
    Story mode stuff is literally 2 mounts and you're basically done by the end of the first month everything else is a massive grind and in no way a memorable experience.

    Do you know what items drop in Turns 2, 3 and 4 in the Second Coil of Bahamut? I don't take you as a dumb person so I know you're aware of it. Which begs the question; why are you giving gear away for people doing easy versions of what is supposed to be the hardest content?

    Story mode is the best suggestion. Making it so people can see the story without having to deal with punishing mechanics that stop them from getting that experience. Although, it doesn't really matter because Echo will only be applied to already outdated content, and that's what the purpose was.

    I can see this suggestion catching Yoshi's attention and consideration.

    The thing about Coil is that it is very deliberately tuned so that a low % of players will be able to beat it initially. This is a design decision. They did not "accidentally" make it too hard. First Coil is already the Easy Mode Coil version (echo buff) and the developers say they are currently happy with the number of players clearing Turn 5, even right now. I don't know if there's any chance of them actually introducing an easy mode (or maybe "story mode" is less offensive) alongside the Third Coil, but we've certainly seen a high level of responsiveness to the community before. It would definitely be for no rewards, though. Every decision made about Coil seems to treat controlling gear drops as the #1 priority, and it's clear that they want to keep these low. If the point of story mode is that people can see the story without challenging the true version, I can't see any reason to set up this content to be farmed, either.

    Not like they say, coil is 20% of the player base all get 100 pieces of BiS gear. Then here's an alternative for the rest of the 80% if not 100% of the player base to enjoy that too has 100 pieces of rewards.

    I'm all for a easy mode but give it like, Broken SCH hand gear 1/5, and once you get all 5/5 you can turn it into the normal gear.

    Super angry people obviously not reading any of the posts and jut declaring how awesome they/their fc is.

    The way the game is set up even practice is stressful and causes a lot of stress to everyone who already is awesome super-pro.
    There should be guildhests that for example teach how to deal with plumes and stomps in a stack.

    Guildhest that requires tank swaps and a guildhest for ping pongin' spiny plume.
    The game should provide a way to learn these without being verbally abused and feeling bad about even playing for the fear of messing up everyone else's game.

    that is not easy mode and you can't do it with bad players. Not to mention can make T5 harder for some people, divebombs going when conflag is up is a prime example.
    That happened even before Echo (and it was even worse then). It's all based on when you damage Twintania into the divebomb phase and it only takes 1-2 attempts to figure out how many conflags will happen before the phase change and you can plan ahead. You can even leave the person in the conflag as if she goes away for divebombs it's very likely that it will stay up for quite a while. The first time we beat T5 we had someone in a conflag and our BRD actually solo'd it down from about 1/2 hp while we were avoiding divebombs.
