Leviathan Extreme Mirror Drop Rate Too Low

In a few weeks you can farm Ramuh for a i100 weapon... And CT for the UAT so you can get Weathered gerolt weapon.

Pretty sure the i100 weapon from Ramuh will be an extra low chance drop, the same rate as the mirror. I believe it was said some time ago that Ramuh would drop other stuff + rare weapon.

Anyways, the drop rate is low. I stopped doing Leviathan despite being able to do it on my sleep simply because after countless runs I saw a single mirror to ever drop. It's just not worth the time.

Vanity/glamour is a DISGUSTING excuse. I use glamour a lot and change my gear's look a lot but if it's going to be used as an excuse for extremely poor and lazy itemization, I'd rather see the glamour system gone.

Could alter it so people who already have a Leviathan weapon can roll need while those still waiting for a weapon can only roll greed? Should increase peoples odds.

I'm very biased by saying this, because I got a Tidal Wave Staff and I'm an RNG joke because I got my mirror before I ever saw the Wave Staff drop and I've been stuck in certain zones for more than a month before I could get an ATMA drop (not complaining about this), but it's probably fine as it is. The Animus and Tidal Wave weapons are meant to be seen as a long term thing, and if mirrors drops rates are increased, it kinda kills the purpose. It's also only 5 ilvs higher, so it's not, "WOAH, INSANE INCREASE IN DPS!!" either. You can also get an ilv 100 weapon from T7, and I know not a lot of people want or like to hear this, but you can definitely do T6 and 7 with an i95 weapon (which you can easily get from Levi or T5). You don't really "need" an ilv 100 if you're not doing BC, especially taking into account that everything before SCoB is considered "overkill" with average i90 equipment, and now we have ilv 100 armor and three ways of acquiring ilv95 weapons.

This is true. However it will be nice to *maybe* see a weapon as I farm for the accessories for my various jobs.

Yes. It's far too low. Too low for me to bother grinding. I'm not going to try for something unless I have a decent chance. Instead of a 2% drop, it should be 10%.

Atma has a low drop rate but if it drops then there's a 100% chance you will get it. Not true with mirror. You have a 1/8 chance. Grind for a 2% drop then a 12.5% chance of actually winning it. I don't think so, Square. I don't think so.

I cleared Leviathan 2-3 days after 2.2 and got my wave staff. I've had no reason to do Leviathan again since because I refuse to farm with those kind of odds. I went for my animus instead.

If SE wants to keep primals relevant they need to have realistic droprates. They think they are prolonging the content with those droprates but they just turn people away instead.

The fact that you can spam Levi is the reason the mirror rate is so low, not even sure how this is even a question. They already gave lazy people the animus, go do that and be happy you get a free i100 that's shiny for simply running around doing low level fates and super easy dungeons.
