Cross-classing skills, sure. But for the actual necessary job requirements, I'm not seeing how PUG would be it.
Then again, what job are we even talking about? o_¬
Ninja will almost certainly benefit from Blood for Blood, if they can be smart and avoid damage. I could definitely see them pulling from Pugilist skills like Internal Release though.
Did they say anything about the weapons, in regards to if it's one weapon that fits both hands like Pugilist, or if it's one weapon for each hand for true dual weilding? And most importantly, can they equip the Fuma gear? They better be able to equip Fuma gear.
They said the class would dual-wield, but NIN daggers or whatever they use would be a set, so when you loot a weapon it's actually a pair of them. I don't think it will take up the main hand/off-hand slots, though.Ninja will almost certainly benefit from Blood for Blood, if they can be smart and avoid damage. In fact, I think they used pug as the example for weapon pairs.
seriously rdm. pls yoshi. pls.
one of the only reasons i keep playing is hoping for this.
Well, from sitting in the chat for xivdb, the person running it says currently there are 2 empty slots for class/job. So atm, Rogue and Ninja are all thats coming in within the next few patches.
Honestly, it's a good decision. Adding more than one DPS without adding more tanks and healers would rock the job balance a little too hard. DPS queue is going to be bad enough as it is...
Thief = Dual Wields, moves quickly and is nimble/agile.
Ninja = Dual Wields, moves quickly and is nimble/agile.
So you want a dual wielding agile class...instead of a...dual wielding agile class..??? I'm confused.
