By time I got my t7 weapon all of 2 people in my FC had their Animus. We have over 80 active players each month so we aren't exactly tiny. So I'd put it this way. Animus is easier because you can do it on your own time, but T7 is faster for most people.
How long has this game been out? Didn't Yoshi say beta for FFXIV started this time last year?
These posts are either blatant trolls, or the deepest thoughts and feelings of people who don't know how to read. Because if they could read, they would have seen that these posts have been made thousands of times. If you could read you would have seen that Yoshi and Co. give a grand total of zero EFF's about your troubles. Save yourself the time and trouble, deal with it or move on to something you "love" but don't also "hate".
P.S. This is not my main...
XIV is far from XI, when i played; if it was, I would re-sub in a heartbeat.
If XIV were anything close to XI circa 2004-2005 I'd have been and gone before the trial period ended.
No one has the time or desire to relive that era. Let's not even get into the wildly unbalanced job structure that none of the developers saw fit to address comprehensively. Or the horribly executed Notorious Monster system (Morbolger and the HNMs, particularly).
I had time; as a working/college student, lol, granted it was part-time.If XIV were anything close to XI circa 2004-2005 I'd have been and gone before the trial period ended.

Yes XI had a flawed job system, but the content was superb imo.
Edit: I, just I would re-sub in a heartbeat, not Hayward or anyone else. I liked XI, hence play it; do not like XIV that much as XI, hence un-sub more frequently. I am only speaking for myself, the time requirement was a non issue for me personally.
