You're supposed to kill the bombs before they blow up. Both Dragoon and Monk have AoE skills to help beat them down. Or do them one by one as they have really low HP.Honestly, I think these maps are impossible for some classes? If you're a Dragoon or Monk? Good luck man. Might be about to do two or three of the variations. But I've encountered some (the one with the multiple bombs comes to mind) that are just stupid. Each blow up for 1500-2000 damage and there are six of them? Even with a chocobo healing you, you're dead. No two ways about it.
That being said, this grind is better than atma and animus, I just don't like the idea of calling for help once a day. It's annoying to do that.
The TP costs on those skills are stupidly high and they don't do nearly enough damage. Bombs aggro and blow up before I kill enough of them. It's clearly a balancing issue.
@Rjain
ever do any of the other maps in this game? They give you an idea of how many people are suggested. This doesn't give any such indication (which implies that they all should be soloable).
Not everyone is ok with spamming help requests every day. I personally don't mind since I decided to collect 3 maps before doing them.(one with each retainer and one on person)

Yeah, I do them regularly. But this is common sense. "Hm, a rare item I cannot get very often that I put effort in to receive. I'd better bring backup!"@Rjain

All of them are soloable. But being that this is an i110 weapon, your gear/skill is probably going to have to be a lot higher than previous 1-man maps (which were for i50 people). If you don't want to risk it, bring friends. Simple solution.
