Some of it is soloable, yes, but not the ENTIRE game, lol. To believe that nonsense would be silly. This is an MMORPG after all.

Few notes:
Many have already noted, the maps ARE soloable. Perhaps YOU can't solo it, but it is possible to do so.
Second, what Yoshi says isn't anywhere near the same as what actually happens.
Current Tome Requirements for Zodiac Weapons:Until now there have been mainly two means of progression: the first being defeating powerful enemies in end-game content to obtain high-item-level equipment, and the second being collecting Allagan tomestones to purchase gear. The Zodiac Weapons do not have the restrictions of these two methods, but are designed to take a long time to complete.
225+900+13500+1500= 16125
Additionally: Post limits are, flat-out, completely idiotic. 1k char limit's stupid to begin with but 20 posts a day? Seriously? What the hell SE?
Agree with you, but i was not the one have problem to solo it ^^;
I just doubt to the idea that the fight requires a group as it is a mmo, bcoz:
1. the maps are soloable as many have already noted
2. the design should let players solo it as the idea brought to us by YoishiP
If they went the route of say challenging instances fights along the lines of Hydra and Chim they would have insane drop rates on whatever item was required because challenge is not enough in and of itself. You could put 50 fights between Zenith and Novus and there would be people out there who grind the fights in a week or less then whine on the forums that they have nothing to do if each fight was one and done. Nevermind how long it would take to put together all those battles if they were unqiue and not simply reusing the EX Primals etc.

Get a friend to go with you if you feel you are going to lose. I had no problem doing that puk and giant one on pld.
"The maps are already easy, please make them easier."
This is exactly what happens when you make the atma and animus quests so stupidly easy a monkey could do them. Everyone expects the next steps to be exactly as disgusting.
I officially give up on this game's community, this is just beyond pathetic and entitled. You can have your forum to fight your wars towards simpler content and I'll just hope Yoshida takes long enough for me to be done with this game before he starts listening to you.
Godspeed.

Impossible for most jobs, or impossible for you?

Then DON'T grind brayflox all day long.
Do the Morbid Motivation daily quest and you get a map as reward. There is absolutely no requirement to buy the maps at 800 myth each.
The invisible leash is the same as it was on the regular treasure maps, but those are of course faceroll easy so no complaints about leashing there.
I got the same mob today for one of my maps (happened to have 800 myth from doing regular roulettes) and was able to solo it without any major problems.
The peapuks hit for very little and have very little HP so they are easily killed fast.

You know, I wasn't originally going to post in here but oh well. Anyone who's seen some of my posts can easily see how much I loathe the current Atma/Animus implementation. So keep that in mind when I say this:
The only issue I have with what I see about the Novus design is the 1500 myth requirement to get started. Everything about the Alexandrite grind actually appears to be well thought out this time.
You currently have four real options with your Alex acquisition:
- Slow and Steady: Get your daily map, complete it. If you solo and die/time out, quit crying you took the risk.
- Supplemental Maps: Have nothing else to spend myth on, buy maps as you get enough
- Reliably Fast: Brayflox for myth, buy maps.
- RNG: Fates
And we're even getting ANOTHER method via Monster Hunts. There is NOTHING to whine about here. The relic quests are meant to take time, period. I don't mind a time-sink for Atma/Animus either, they're just poorly designed time-sinks.

Ask a Healer to acompaign you and support you while you go Sparta at the mobs?
My FC mate asks me every time if he can't clear the map alone.
Geeesh coming here to cry is easier than to ask for help in game? Like really?
Sometimes I don't get people.
